Our story starts as great friends. We met at the Coast Guard Academy in 2019 and stayed friends throughout the four years.

In January of our senior year Jack asked Alana to start dating while on a ski trip in Maine. We graduated four months later and packed up to start our first assignments in Charleston, SC.

Since graduating we have visited national parks, spent lots of days in downtown Charleston, saw Noah Kahan in concert and spent roughly 470 cumulative days underway.

On January 18th, 2025, Jack proposed while celebrating our two year anniversary in Grayton Beach, FL.
